1) Carlson kicks the game-winner at halftime against Alabama

2) No-call on Kentucky TD completely changes the momentum of the game

3) lol

Once Kiffin gets here, we’ll never lose a home game again

I love this happened to Arky, would have been so much more enjoyable if Bert was still there

When you're up 21-0 to start the 4th even the refs can't help ya. That's the mindset we've preferred to take.

There's also that game from like, 06 where the refs let the kicker kick again after he missed because a guy allegedly came down on another defender and called it a jump off. Kicks again and wins w a walk off and my hatred of auburn began. There was no shame from their fans.

Rule was in place for one year only and only called once that entire year. Ronnie Prude wasn’t called for launching off of someone, he was called bc he landed on someone. They interjected themselves into the outcome of that game and there is no way around it.

and still called correctly according to the letter of the law, hence the NCAA issuing this the following year:
quote:

RULE CHANGE: Last season, Auburn's John Vaughn had a second chance to kick the winning extra point against LSU when LSU was penalized for a leaping foul by Ronnie Prude. That rule has been adjusted. In the past, a team would be penalized if a player jumped after a one-yard start and landed on an opposing player. Now, a team will be penalized if a player jumps after more than a one-yard start and lands on any player. "This rule was put in originally for player safety," SEC supervisor of football officials Bobby Gaston said. "I don't think you'll see anybody leaping or launching this year. Jumping straight up is OK."

Farewell to Texas A&M's national championship dreams as the Aggies have just bowed out to the Auburn Tigers in a wild 45-41 win at Kyle Field. Johnny Manziel came back from a shoulder injury to lead his team back into the lead with 5:05 left in the game, but he couldn't get one last touchdown out of his boys in the last 79 seconds for the win.

The Aggies came close though, and one play with 20 seconds left may have swung the balance of the game. With a 3rd and 18 at the Auburn 26, Manziel broke out of the pocket on a scramble, only to be tracked down by linebacker Kris Frost for a 5-yard gain ... and here was the tackle on that play.

That looks like a pretty textbook horse collar tackle, doesn't it? Frost gets his first hand on Manziel inside his jersey, which you can see get pulled down, and Manziel clearly comes down awkwardly on his legs as often happens in a horse collar tackle.

The importance of that play is rather huge; instead of the 15 yards (or in this case, half the distance to the goal) and automatic first down the Aggies would get, A&M faced a 4th and 13. That ended in a sack, and thus ended the competitive portion of the game.

You can bet A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin will be asked about that call, and you can bet he'll be mindful of the awaiting fine when he decides how to answer. But make no mistake: that tackle should have been flagged.

You can DV it all you want.
That play was gift wrapped to Auburn, complete with an orange and navy bow.
Without the blown call, we score a TD and win the game.

You sound like an Arkansas fan.

If our coach didn't pick his nose and eat it, wed' have won in 2014 too.

I don’t know about that.
I’m just referring to what I DO know.
And that blown called changed the trajectory of the season.
Sucked.

You have to be 3 TDs better than them to win in that stadium.

OK, so you edited/added this gem (below) to your post while I was responding.

Arkansas was screwed.
Don’t take it personally; it isn’t like you made the call.

The nose-picking comment speaks for itself.

Meh.
They’re frustrated.
I think you can understand that.
