It really does.
His father worked with him incessantly for years with the goal of one day becoming a NBA player. After all those hours and years of work the dream comes true. Now the two will never be able to enjoy the fruits of all that labor. Truly heartbreaking for a son

So sad that he committed suicide right when his son was on the verge of a professional career. Reminds me a bit of Archie Manning's story.
