I keep seeing the accolades for Matt Corral, and rightfully so, and I see that the Rebs are predicted to do well but outside of Corral what are the core strengths of your team?

Our D has the strongest work ethic in the SEC.

You can’t begin to understand how hard the D tries to suck that bad. Not just any group of players can suck that bad. It takes dedication and an unrelenting will. Most would have given up a long time ago, but not our guys.

should have a really good running game, one receiver that can take the top off...other receivers are a question mark - expect to throw to our backs a bunch

defense - as previously mentioned - hot garbage until proven otherwise

We have one of the top OL in the conference, and a solid stable of RB's with Ealy and Snoop. Our WR's are very good as well (even with loosing Moore). So, offensively, we will be very good.

Defensively, we have several transfers that will help out immediately. Depth is a very big concern, and that's been a focus in recruiting. I have no clue if we'll be any better, but one would think it would be impossible to not show improvement.

Good summary. We simply can't be worse on defense and our offense should be very good.

You must be recruiting them from the same place we used to recruit ours from 2000-2019.

What happened to the John Rhys Plumlee kid? I thought he was stout at QB too

He should be our QB1. All we need is a triple option offense and he could be king.

He is more of a runner, but he really isn’t a dual threat QB. Nebraska’s qb has better accuracy. I think he better suited as a slot receiver like Kiffin has him.

He'll mostly be playing in the slot, with a few special plays designed for him at QB. In the Outback Bowl against Indiana, JRP played in the slot (in place of Moore) and made some bigtime plays. Kid is a tremendous athlete, and he seems to have found a home as a receiver right now.

I've been saying our defense can't get any worse since the 2016 season.

They haven't.

Auburn was a blown call away from losing to our shitty football team (missed kickoff return call).

All our defense needs to do is go from 'worst' to 'not the worst' and we will be a 9 win team.

Seriously, if it's even just below average, it will be a game changer.

We did incredibly well last year with essentially a non-functioning defensive unit. If we have a defense that is just barely serviceable, we're going to frick some teams up.
