Realistically, what does Alabama need to do to make the dance?

Lunardi still has them in a play in. This would suggest a win over A&M could be enough for a play in. Palm says they need two wins to merit consideration.
I'm honestly seeing 2 wins not being enough but they don't have to win the tournament to secure a bid.
If Alabama best A&M, Auburn, then whoever but lost the Championship I can't see any way they're out at 20-15 with their wins.
I don't see any possibility they could win 3 though. A&M and maybe Auburn coming off the A&M win are possible but this team isn't cohesive enough to pull 3 big wins under pressure.

Don't lose five straight when you're in with five games left?

you also need to keep a watchful eye on other tourneys --which of course you have no control over. For instance you don't need Syracuse winning the ACC Tournament, San Francisco or BYU winning the WCC, Tulane winning the America East, etc.

Beat A&M, maybe beat Auburn.
Lose to A&M - lock out
Beat A&M, lose to Auburn - probably 50/50, maybe a bit better
Beat A&M, beat Auburn - lock in
Of course, that could all change if other tournaments go sideways, but that's what you have to deal with when you basically take things out of your own hands.

"Win 1 game in the tourney"
This. Lunardi rarely misses. A win would at the very least put them teetering on the right side of the bubble..especially for a play in game. A win over A&M AND Auburn puts then safely in as a 10 seed. A win over A&M and a reasonably competitive loss to Auburn probably gets them to Dayton. Bottom line is that it's ridiculous Alabama is even in this position when they were as high as a 6 or 7 seed after the blowout win over Tennessee on February 10th. The fact they couldn't manage to win a single game since when all they needed to do was get to 9-9 in the league to lock up a bid is pathetic.

It feels that way because it doesn't seem like we actually have a shot to win 1 SECT game led alone 2, but it is not in any way too late strictly by the opportunities and NCAA outcome if we win those opportunity games.

But that would be so worth it seeing overrated Gonzaga possibly get knocked down to a 6 or 7 seed.

I want BYU to beat St Mary's then lose to Gonzaga.
That'd be perfect.

Gotta beat A&M and put on the kneepads.
Honestly though if they can’t beat A&M or even Auburn for that matter when its all on the line, whats the damn point

Beating aTm in the round 2 game is 100% necessary and likely gets them in. The strong resume of multiple top 25 wins is enough to get in as a bubble team as long as you can get rid of the stain of a 5 game losing streak. No way we get in having lost 6 straight though. A 2nd win would certainly help, but I don't think it is a must.

They need to get away from their specialty, which is special Olympics basketball.

Obviously not gonna cheer for Bama to beat us in the SEC tourney, but I do hope they beat A&M and get invited to the dance. Makes the league look stronger the more teams weve got in it.
