I've seen lots of people saying "it's on the wrong wall!" I think it is on that wall so that it is the first thing players see when they walk into the room.
As an Auburn fan I like it for two reasons: 1) I want them to want to beat Alabama; 2) since 2008 teams that have beaten Alabama have had pretty good seasons. If you want to be the best you have to beat the best.

Probably not. Intense in-state rivalry + said rival being the most dominant team in college football = an entire wall with signage devoted to them.

I don't see what the big deal is. The Bama fans come out with pitchforks when other LSU fans try to downplay their rivalries and the first couple of pages, it's like the Bama fans are the one downplaying it:

I personally don't like it, but it's not a huge deal.
