It actually was a good game. Too bad the umpire decided the outcome.

All I saw was LSU players hoping to get a walk instead of being aggressive and trying to win the games. I mean honestly how many pitches did they watch called strike after strike. Nerves? Inexperience?

So your saying it’s their fault for not swinging at obvious balls and one especially low in a critical situation where a walk ties the game? That is stupid fricking logic that ump hadn’t called a strike below the knee the entire game and that one was at the ankles.

Absolutely. Make adjustments. You see hes clearly calling the pitches strikes regardless of what he had done earlier. I’m not going to sit there and let the ump dictate what happens. I’m going to step up and take control of my own destiny.

We should have definitely been swinging the bat, but at the end of the game the umpire called that pitch a strike for the first time all game.

However that one pitch didn't lose the game for LSU. So no, he didn't "steal" the game.

“Literally took the win”

Cry-baby coonasses getting pissy over ONE PITCH that should have been called strikes all along but hadn’t. The ump gifted you that 8th run. You had the bases loaded and you’re crying over one pitch

Should have been calling that a strike all game.

I don’t disagree with that at all. Ump absolutely had a bad game. Bases loaded and every opportunity to win. It’s clear the ump is now calling it a strike. Go down swinging.

And I'm not disagreeing with you there. However the most important thing for an Umpire to have with his strike zone is consistency. Anyone who has played baseball will tell you that. Doesn't matter where it is, as long as it is consistent.

One pitch? The last two batters had plenty of pitches to hit. Good game still. Tough loss.

They did, and didn't swing the bat. That's on them. All I did was point out the fact that the umpire called that picture strike, which he had not done all game. Now he should have been calling that pitch a strike, but he wasn't. Overall the umpire had a bad game and was inconsistent, which is the worst thing and umpire can be. However like I said before, that one pitch is not the reason LSU lost the game.

Lets take this melt to epic new heights! Since when did Ole Miss baseball players go from Douchy Swoopy haired skinny Frat kids to Fat 70s porn stars? At least we can laugh at that after the fiasco. They even had visible chains!
