Arkansas and Auburn finish in the top 8 after 3 rounds to advance to Match Play for the team title. Florida, Ole Miss, Vandy and Tennessee have been eliminated.

That it is. Hopefully they can get a little home course magic in match play and take the team title too.

How much further you think home course advantage will take Arkansas?

I still think USC is favorite.
But both Texas and Duke have proven they can take the course.

I initially thought that was a massive mole on her face.

Congrats to Marìa.

I’d guess Final Four. I’d agree that we don’t have the talent across the board for that advantage to carry us all the way against them.

I watched some of her when they were playing in Augusta, she’s fun to watch.

Didn't Auburn have to hold play for darkness? They'll see if they can finish the final 2 holes tomorrow in less than 3 over par.

You’re right. Still a chance they could not make it. Hopefully I didn’t jinx it.

Auburn did make it. They are paired up with Texas in the match play.

It is all the sweeter of a win for her because she could have gone on to the LPGA. Fassi qualified but deferred entrance until after the National championship. With her personality and game Fassi could be a big time Latina star on the LPGA tour.

Hopefully the team wins a national title to go along with it but I think we don't quite have enough talent to get over the hump. Another big day for Razorback coach Shauna Estes-Taylor.

Taylor was a star at Georgia when she golfed and has been at Arkansas for 16 years, first as an assistant and now as head coach. Not only have her teams and individual players done well but her squads routinely land in the top 10 percent when it comes to grades.
