(no message)

I just wanted to continue this awful trend of would you rather. I have seen the Alabama, South Carolina, and Texas threads so why not. I guess I will be seeing Georgia vs GT, or UF vs FSU vs Miami soon...

Football cannot come soon enough

Both schools are littered with fat, beta, trailer trash lowlives. Neither would be a good choice for the average American.

I will state the obvious. I chose Mississippi State. It allowed me to continue my education out of state with me paying nearly no money to attend and enjoy the advantages of a SEC school while building upon it to make it more competitive in the SEC.

I feel like it has done just that. I did not consider Ole Miss mainly because unlike most MS folks, with me being out of state, they were not in the picture. But I chose them over Alabama and Auburn. And I would do the same today.

But as far as Ole Miss goes, along with Alabama they did not offer my degree. So it was a pretty easy choice to decide State over them. I have been to Oxford a few times. From an outsiders point of view, it doesn't seem much different from Starkville. Both meh MS College Towns. The football games I have attended in Starkville as opposed to Oxford seem more lively. The Basketball Games have a different sound in the Humphrey Coliseum then anywhere I have been when it fills up. And I was not thrown beer on when I have attended Dudy Noble(I refuse to go to the Oxford Baseball Stadium ever again).

I will say the Ole Miss campus is much smaller than I expected it to be. It almost felt like the size of Troy as compared to a SEC school. Even Vanderbilt seemed bigger to me. But the downtown kind of has a nice late 1800's design feel to it that I can respect since it has been maintained well.

And Oxford does feature a Captain Ds that their new mascot loves, a Chevron that the LSU HC loves to eat chicken at, and an IHOP that the Michigan HC eats at. How can Starkville beat that?

Hattiesburg is the best town of the 2 1/2 major colleges in Mississippi(USM is half of one). USM has transformed their campus over the past 2 years to make it much nicer. But you get a better degree in Oxford and Starkville. And quite frankly there are not USM fans I know of. Some partner with Ole Miss or MSU(not many I know of). But most of the "USM Fans" are Alabama and LSU fans just rooting for USM to piss off the instate schools.

USM is basically ULL. Neither know their place. "University of Louisiana" my arse. Sit down ULL.

He’s either a pussy, or he’s probably never been to Swayze, other wise he would know 70% of the fans don’t throw thier beer. It’s a student section tradition.

Not gonna lie, this made me laugh . This is why I love rivalries. Didnt y’alls sorority girls litterally shite in public all over States campus?

In the words of Vicky Valencourt “Men are supposed to have stanky feet, but women ain’t supposed to shite in public on college campuses” or something like that.

State is coming through strong.

I’m a tad disappointed at the non-State representation in the bet, though.
