Have we forgotten his first year and the blowout loss to Auburn.

One with a roster full of Richt players and an injured mediocre Auburn QB (2016). 1-1 against Gus with the best UGA team in decades. Either way, kind of a small sample size to make that sort of judgment.

Kirby has done all that he can do in 2 years. He put his team in position to win the championship and is a much better recruiter than Gus. I would hire Kirby over Gus if I was looking for a coach

You could’ve said the same thing after year 1 of Gus. It just goes to show you that one season doesn’t define a coach.

You asked this, but didn't think to ask "How Kirby is better than Jimbo?" Okay...
Jimbo has won a NC.
Gus has played for a NC and is the only other coach on this list to beat the best (2-3 as HC against Saban).
Kirby has played for a NC.
Objectively, that order would be based more on actual accomplishments, as opposed to projecting your feelings. But there is no room for that on the tRant.
