Missouri is Black and Gold.. and it's a way cooler black/gold than Vandy. And what does our mascot have to do with color scheme?

Horrible. 1/10.

Also Mardi Gras originated in Mobile Alabama.

South Carolina is Garnet, not maroon.

Arky is cardinal not red.

Blue and red are atrocious? Do you hate America?

Alabama is crimson not red. It's even in the damn name.

Burt Reynolds hangs out with Adam Sandler.

america's color scheme is unoriginal

crimson = red. It's a bland, un-original color, but hey I wouldn't expect much from alabama anyway.

13) Alabama - wow, another team with red. really original.

quote:

Teams in Red Uniforms Often Win

quote:

An article published in National Geographic News back in 2005 noted that a study claimed that when opponents of a game are equally matched, the team dressed in red is more likely to win.
quote:

The two researchers concluded that when the athletes were randomly given red or blue clothing, and that when they were equally matched with their opponents, the competitors wearing red were more likely to win their contests, and the conclusion could not be attributed to chance

And the LSU fans will love this next quote.
quote:

But the German scientists took the issue of the red uniform advantage one step further: possible referee bias in scoring. In a series of tests, the psychologists found that when the competitors were wearing red, they were awarded an average of 13% more points than the blue competitors by experienced referees.

quote:

a study at the University of Rochester have been looking into the effects the color red has on athletes. They noted that red makes us stronger and faster, by temporarily increasing speed and strength reactions. "Red enhances our physical reactions because it is seen as a danger cue,"

LSU is by far the worst. Purple & yellow are just fugly.
UF, Tenn, State, Bama, & Arky are all pretty turrible as well. Auburn's version of O&B are better than UF's.

I really like Ole Miss the best

maybe it gives you a slight psychological edge, but bama's uniforms are god awful to look at. Absolutely no originality. "errrm, hey jim bob. what how do ya reckon we make our uniforms" "i dunno jethro, how bouts we just make em red and puts numbers on the helmets" "yeah and we'll give all the fans pom poms durrr"

Why don't you look up the traditions for it in the US moron.

Don't know why you're bringing up education when LA can even find teachers.

For the rest of your post not all shades of red are the same. That's why they're called shades. I swear you're up there in the top ten worst posters.

you really don't know anything about history do you. mobile and biloxi were founded before new orleans and were originally part of the louisiana colony founded by the french. So LA didn't copy anything. parades, beads, floats, krewes, balls, and the celebration in general originated in new orleans. mobile had it first though, guess that makes theirs better

It's red and white and it's overplayed..Like 70 other NCAA squads have nearly the same color scheme. Stale.
