Ok, I'm a Saints homer but I won't that far. I think he could win us games, but Brees is one of the top, if not the top QB in the NFL

Isn't Chase short ?

Brees is listed as 6 foot, which means he prolly just under

He was after Kiefer. He played at SMS his Sr year.

We tried to make him run the Flex Bone, yeah we went to the I after he threw 4 TD in one QTR.

Best - McElroy. Good enough. Didn't hurt us. Never had those "what the hell are you doing" moments that Barker had (and he cld recognize a blitz- something barker never could)
AJ has more arm talent than all except Brodie. Could be considered the best before he leaves.

Worst - probably John David Phillips. That said, Spencer Pennington should get every Bama fan's vote due to how massive of a douche he is. Still tries to drink free in TTown and has a personalized plate (Lucky 13).

Thread observations - LSU fans have to be voting JJ worst to make themselves feel better about BCSNCG. Plenty were saying he wld be the reason you wld win before that game.

AU fans - where is Gabe Gross? I used to go party in auburn every other wk from '96 - '98. He sucked. Fans seemed to hate him. He was an SEC starting QB who struggled to get laid. That shld tell you how bad he was.

Brees was like six two on the Purdue program amazing how these guys shrink when the NFL measures them

For what it's worth the Wisconsin kid Wilson is great but he is too short

I think Wilson is only 5'10.

Sorahan was terrible, but he only threw a little over 100 passes his whole career. Not much of a sample.

He was really bad though.

Thank you, I'm working on my skills.

At Mizzou, Chase was listed at 6'0", but was just under that. I agree that Brees is one of the top QBs in the game right now, and couldn't imagine anyone better for Chase to learn from. I just think that with his competitive nature and work ethic, if he were put into the starting position there would be no deer-in-the-headlights, and the Saints would be just fine.

I could be slightly off. It could be 6'1", but certainly not 6'2". Too lazy to look it up right now. I do think I remember hearing it is actually 5'11"
And to who said LSU fans were saying JJ would be the reason we would win BCSCG. Of course we would. He looked like the better of 2 bad options. Even if we had won, we still wouldn't of had him very high. From what I read most had Davey or Russell as the best, and neither won the BCS and Russell didn't even win the SEC

Ok, Im not even gonna bother including guys like Brandon Avalos, gtfo with that shite.

1. Jay Barker - Winningest QB/National Title/SEC Title/ 2 SEC West titles/ Johnny Unitas Golden arm Award
2. Greg McElroy - Single season TD record/National Title/SEC Title
3. AJ McCarron - National Title
4. John Parker Wilson - Career passing TD record/SEC west Title
5. Andrew Zow/Tyler Watts - SEC Title
6. Freddie Kitchens - SEC west title
7. Brodie Croyle
8. Gary Hollingsworth
9. Spencer Pennington - Just felt I should include this poor bastard.

No one else is worth mentioning.

Daniels/Brees make sense as a back-up starter New Orleans does somethings to get Drew "looks" they do not do for the six five Tom Brady types

The best QB at LSU was probably JR. The worst was Booty.

Now the worst QB in the SEC in this time period had to be Ingle Martin
