It's alright. Don't be upset. Not everyone can be number 1. If you work real hard you might get a shot at it next season.

Also that is on 4/20 weekend so you can go get high with some hippies on Dickson afterwards.
Sold me right here. The old lady can babysit our four year old. I'm getting baked with some Arkies. See you in April!

Rank these baseball road trips.
How would you rank these relative to one another?
Look to the current team rankings:
Arkansas-#1
Everyone else
That is the correct answer.

There was a big article about Arkansas' facilities in a Columbia newspaper in the early 00s that stated Carolina Stadium's design was influenced a lot by Baum. It talked about how they visited our facilities to gather ideas. Its not a lie, and it came from your own media. That's where it comes from.
I know the exact article written by Joe Person and I know exactly when Ray Tanner, Mike McGee and two of the board members made the trip.
"Influenced by," yes. "Copied," no.
There were design aspects that also applied to every HOK baseball stadium - Camden Yards was the main one, and The Joe in Charleston ... but yes, Baum was one of the many they visited.

So what you're saying is.. we got some of the better aspects of Baum, left out the crappy ones.. and made a better venue?

I've heard Columbia (SC) sucks. Any truth to this? I would think the towns put OM and Arky ahead of USCe , baseball experience aside

Every Arkansas fan here knows that Arkansas is gonna do what they do again this year.....lose. I've seen more talented teams than this at Arkansas under van horn get beat week in and week out like a rented mule.
They caught lightening in a bottle last year and their nuts swole up.....it won't last. Now stupidity.....that never goes away when it comes to Arkansas fans.

Alabama trip would be disappointing unless you just really want to go to Tuscaloosa. Bama stadium is not really that great.

In 1997 Alabama and Ole Miss were both regional host sights, and we were convinced that the NCAA was going to send us to one of them. They sent us to Stanford, so I've wanted to see both places for a while now. I've been to Oxford before (not for a sporting event) but never Tuscaloosa.
