Thought this would be a good thread to start.
Curious what others would think.
My personal list would be...

#1 1 LSU vs 2 Alabama -2011 BCSNC
#2 1 UGA vs 2 Alabama -2017 CFPNC
#3 1 LSU @ 2 Alabama - 2011
#4 2 LSU @ 3 Alabama 2019
#5 2 Alabama @ 4 Auburn -2013
#6 2 Alabama vs 3 Georgia -2012 SEC Champ game
#7 1 Alabama @ 5 LSU -2012
#8 1 Auburn vs 5 UGA -2017 SEC champ game
#9 #1 LSU vs 4 UGA -2019 SEC champ game
#10 4 Alabama @ 1 Miss State -2014

Bonus:
2 LSU vs 4 Alabama -2015

This is just from memory. Prob missed some.

Does the UGA/Bama National championship game count? If so, that should probably be number 1.

2012 Georgia vs. Alabama needs a bump because that was the National Championship. Gurley would have run all over Notre Dame

A very underrated one is LSU vs Texas A&M in 2012. Aggies win the west if that goes the other way and theyd play UGA for the right to kill Notre Dame

I counted it.

It’s listed as 2 behind LSU v Bama in 2011.

Yep, back when the Mad Hatter was grazing the sidelines this stuff was nuclear. Soon, the SEC will be sending the Cajun's care packages in their sports teams' march through the NCAA wilderness.

Agreed.

I actually believe the Bama/UGA Natty game should be number one.

2-10) Any game at Faurot that I attended and still remember.

Define "important"

Ranking at game time, or impact on the conference or national landscape?

Because I can probably think of a few that were more important than #10.

Good list except this game didn't end up mattering that much so it's probably a little high.

The way I’m using the word “important” is based off what the teams had to lose and gain. And how that would affect each team and the conference moving forward.

That where I’m kinda coming from.

I was thinking about putting the Ole Miss Bama game at 10 but not sure.

Auburn vs mizzou 2013 SECCG. That one sends the winner to the national title game. Let’s not forget how good that mizzou team was. It would have changed the outlook of the sec east by having mizzou play for a championship only 2 years after joining the conference.
