The fact that franks and mond are above anyone (and I think legitimately so) means the Mississippi schools are boned.

But seriously I think the landmass is going to have better QB play than Arkansas and aTm just because of the coaches

I guess based on what’s been seen so far:

Jones
Nix
Franks
Brennan
Shrader
Mond
Corral

I don’t think any of the first three or shrader and mond are exceptional though based on being the ones with plenty of game experience

Lot of folks downplaying Jones.

Dude threw for over 300 yard and 4 TDs against Auburn and then over 300 and 3 TDs against a top 10 pass defense. Against that top 10 defense he had a rating over 210.

That top 10 defense was Michigan so let’s slow your roll a little.

But yeah he did really well against auburn minus the two picks. With smith and waddle plus what ever other studs y’all have lined up he will probably have a pretty damn good year

Franks blew in the East but will shine in the West. Makes sense

Saban has proven Jones, or any other QB doesn't have to be great to win. Feels like it could be like the year you won it all with the Florida State transfer QB, cant remember his name

If Costello gets to Starkville, then State will have the best QB in the conference.

Nix is average at best. Loses the entire offensive and defensive lines....Franks again average...and Franks is at Arkansas so is a non factor for a couple of years.

No idea what to think of Mond. Mond could be the best or worst returning starter. Don’t care about the Mississippi schools.

Mac Jones looked competent in his two game trial as a starter. Bama has a very solid supporting cast as always.

Brennan performed very well in practice. Knows the offense. Stronger arm than Burrow. Has to prove/develop decision making and in game performance. LSU has a very solid supporting cast on offense as well.

So IMO there is no way to rank the prospective starters. Other than Bama, LSU, Auburn and TAM appear to be happy and committed to the names on the list.
