Obviously we will all have different opinions. So rank your's from best to worst.

1. Jimbo Fisher - Best because if he gets back to what he was three years ago before his whore wife destroyed him as a man. He could be fierce. Could also be a disaster with the money involved but this was a home run, top ten hire.

2. Dan Mullen - Lost Kelly, this was the best option. Proven coach, knows and loves the program. We already know he will provide offense, we've seen it here before. Recruiting is a concern so keeps him from number 1.

3. Chad Morris - Smart hire. Less proven than Jimbo or Mullen but still a really good hire that makes sense for Arkansas.

4. Moorhead - Did well at Fordham as a head coach. High ranking OC with a good track record. Done quickly, efficiently, and the fit seems good.

5. Pruitt - While it could be a very good hire, it was also option number...12? Never been a head coach so it's an unknown. We know he recruits well, but the rest is up for question. Could be a Smart level hire, could be a Muschamp. Never proven himself as a head coach so ranking above those that have would make zero sense.

6. Matt Luke - We all know he is just there to get them through to the next head coach with the probation coming.

I'd put Aggie Chad above Mullen. Mullen has a ceiling, and while it's a high ceiling, Aggie Chad's is higher.

I’d put Moorehead 3rd, but that’s iffy.

Can I ask why? June Jones recruited just as well, and Clemson seemed to get better after he left? Am I wrong thinking this?

honestly 1-4 might be interchangeable. Good hires all around. Pruitt might turn out to be a good one. Vols seem to have righted the ship with Fulmer and Pruitt. Might have been one of the guys Fulmer wanted before he was named AD. Don’t really know much about Luke other than he is Ole Miss to the core.

Seems like SEC schools did pretty well.

Jimbo, then Moorhead, then Mullen, then Pruitt, then Aggie Chad.

The head coach of Fordham =/= head coach of MSU in the hardest division of the hardest conference. Mullen changed MSU from a 3 win school to an 8 win school in arguably the most brutal of years in modern football history. No way an 8 year successful head coach in a tough conference is second to the previous Fordham HC.

Moorehead is a fantastic hire, though.

"Whore wife".... Geez. Taking the rivalry thing a bit far there, eh?

Anyway, I think Mullen could be the best hire of the bunch. He knows how to grow QBs and UF has needed a Qb since Tebow left.

2-15 against ranked opponents, it’s hard to overlook that stat. He beat up on a lot of less talented teams. He is now the hunted, we will see how it translates. It may not go well.

Agree. All seem like smart hires that make sense. Nothing was out of left field this time around.

Chad saved Dabo. They got better after he left because they were steadily improving the talent there... but there's a reason they promoted from within after Chad left for SMU. They're still running Chad's offense with a few tweaks.

That said, Mullen has proven more and should be ranked ahead of Chad at this point. Still excited though.

Morris did create the offensive power that Clemson became under Watson. Seems like a good hire for sure.

Patently false. June admits now that he got very lazy in his recruiting. They stopped visiting schools and coaches and essentially offered kids with no other FBS offers.

Ask Dabo about the effect Morris had on his offense and the groundwork he laid while there.

Fair enough Perspective matters, I do remember Dabo on icy footing before he arrived. I hope he does well. He certainly seems like an upgrade to Bert.

My opinion only and I will concede it's highly debateable given what Mullen did at MSU. As far as Chad's history, he completely revamped the Clemson offense, recruited Deshaun Watson, and Clemson was winning 11 games a year ever since. They're still running Chad's offense.

Mullen is something like 33-39 in conference. I know that's at MSU, but I do think there should be some concern that he has a ceiling as a coach. Thats my reservation about him; just that he can do well like Sumlin but he can't win trophies.

My bad I was just looking at rankings, I didn’t know the details that’s why I asked. I do remember now how Dabo was almost out of the door before Chad got there. I stand corrected. I hope he does well.
