Wondering whether the cooking method correlates at all to home base?

We roast. Have never fried, although I’d like to attempt that.

Happy Thanksgiving Ranters.

I'm slow smoking the bird. Was going to brine it, but opted for just my favorite rub and some good ole cajun butter injection. On the pellet grill at 300 using apple pellets.

Cajun deep fried is great, but to me not traditionally Thanksgiving. I like ham better anyway, though.

Smoke or fry. I’ve eaten a baked bird before at difficult times in my life. But it’s not something I’d want to experience again, or subject children to.
