Kidding aside. This game was already going to be ugly, but now with loads of rain in the forecast for the game, this game could be even uglier with the teams just running the ball all game.
Probably will come down to who fumbles the least.

Am I missing something about how the day game would be in doubt if their was a tropical storm 100s of miles away in the southern gulf of mexico on Saturday morning?
Hurricane Gustav didnt hit louisiana until Sunday, yet we moved our game up to 10am.....
If this thing is a hurricane projected to hit Florida on Sunday, games will likely be altered in some way

If you live on the coast (Destin, panama city, etc etc) a Cat 1 fricks shite up. Not if you are inland, a cat 1 wont have much impact on you at all unless you have the bad luck of having a tree fall on your house....

Yep. I was planning a fishing trip this weekend to the florida panhandle for sat-tuesday. Looks like that aint gonna happen now. Rain over 80% probable most days. I'll fish in the rain, but not lightning. And if this is a tropical storm, the wind will be up and so will the sea.

On a serious note, what would SEC do if this was a bad enough hurricane, Fla and LSU do not share bye weeks, LSU does not have anymore non conf games, all SEC rest of the way, if a game got cancelled under this scenario does SEC push title game back a week since all SEC games have to be played. It is a scenario that could happen in future years if the schedule played out right and it was a later storm like in October when half the schedule is already complete.

No need to do anything yet, but there should be a contingency plan discussed to move the game to 11 AM if needed.

There was talk of cancelling the game last year outright and dealing with the ramifications later. Even if I think was cancelled it wouldn’t have changed UF winning the Easts because Tenn blew it.
I think it’s a foregone conclusion that unless the game matters in the standings at the end of the year, you just cancel it.
