Does it count as the 1st win of a former assistant

You know what Saban's record is right now vs previous assistants? 21-0
Where have I seen that before?

Quit being so insecure. It’s a question

If saban is not on the sidelines then I don’t think it counts

That will not be happening. Georgia sucks. Bama by 30

The answer is yes, but it's a tad more complicated.
The NCAA was asked and the rule is it's up to the school to decide if the game counts towards the head coach if he's absent because of illness or some other temporary reason. They request that the school decides this before the game, not after.
Bama came out and said Saban is the head coach and this is his team, as such it's his game Saturday.
