Question for Bama fans

This has probably been asked already but I'm not on here all the time.
What is yalls take on Saban's odd behavior and sudden change? When yall win and play well he's negative, has high standards set for his players etc
Twice now he seems very different after a loss, and a slug fest with UT.
Are talking heads in Tuscaloosa saying about this? The fans?

He knows they are young and inexperienced and yelling at them may not help matters?

His mind is already in Baton Rouge

That's not a change. He has always not reacted/responded the way some thought he might. He is an expert on knowing when to be critical and when to give praise.

It’s nothing new. A very similar team in 2014.

WTF are you talking about? He's the same he's always been. Sometimes he uses the carrot, sometimes he uses the stick. It has always depended on what he thinks reaches each particular group the best.
Before aTm, the last Bama loss was 2019. You're really making comparisons of situations a month shy of two years apart?

That isn't a change at all. That's his M.O. and always has been. All of his messaging in the press (and I'd assume in the building) is centered around keeping guys at an even emotional spot - if they are low after a loss he tries to bring it up, if they are through the roof after a win he tries to drag it back down.
The time you have to go "uh-oh" is when we aren't making mistakes and are playing bad and he's not upset. That happened with our defense mid-way through 2019 and it was the first sign to a lot of us that we just didn't have players who could play good football. Saban doesn't yell and scream at guys who are doing all they can but just can't make plays. He loses his mind when guys do unfocused things (stupid penalties) or make mistakes because their preparation was sloppy.

He has mellowed quite a bit. It started mostly after the tornado that swept through Tuscaloosa. He can still be pretty ornery, though.
But he knows he has a very young team this year, so he's a little on the softer side. You'd see a different Saban if this was a veteran team playing like it has.

Thanks for the response. This makes sense being how successful he is.
For years I've been hearing how Bama's run is finally coming to an end. I won't buy into that until I see back to back "bad seasons" As of today I don't see yalls season as, bad.
The college football world is waiting for that moment because its going to make the game very different

You must not remember the arky game in Fayetteville years ago. We were barely hanging on with Blake Sims at QB. He was proud of the team for the one-point victory.
Coach Saban is a great coach that gets human nature better than most. There are times when being built up serves a better purpose than scolding. Great coaches know when that time comes. It has always been that way at the Capstone.

Correct. I don't remember that. Was it pre-A&M/SEC? Years ago I remember being in Walmart and ARK/Bama having a close game. I was looking at TVs and the game was on. Im guessing that was around 08? Its been a long time.
I thought some of his reactions or lack thereof on the sidelines at Kyle field were uncharacteristic. Then this weekend analysts were joking around about his reaction for the UT game.

He employ's an group of psychologists, they evaluate every player and they report back to Coach on the individual make-up of each player.

Looks like the bama fans have addressed this, but I was going to say that this is typical Saban. He is positive and negative at times, win or lose.
