It's a tough place to go in and play well when they are revved up

Honorable mention also goes to Max Johnson last season. Didn't fit the criteria but Florida was revved up and he had a great game

2020 Max Johnson (FR) (LSU @ #10 Florida)
- 21/36 (58.3%)
- 239 yards
- 6.6 YPA
- 3 TD/0 INT
- 141.60 QB Rating
- Won 37-34

- 9/20 (45.0%)
- 72 yards
- 3.6 YPA
- 0 TD/0 INT
- 75.24 QB Rating
- Lost 44-11

So Florida was 5-1 as a home underdog in the last 10 years before last week? That’s an impressive HFA.

I'm not entirely sure as an underdog (I think they might have been slight favorites against Auburn a few years ago), but as the lower ranked team - yea.

You also have to remember their most played game against a ranked team is Georgia, and that game is never at home. Really the only other almost always ranked team they play every other year at home is LSU.

That was the game where we lined up in the wild Magee formation in a goal to go situation, UF called timeout, and we came back with the SAME play and it predictably got stuffed

Also mett hits Beckham on a bomb late in the game and he almost immediately fumbled after catching it

06 and ‘12 have to be 2 of the most frustrating games I’ve watched

Not to mention Kevin Minter, who was a complete animal that game with 20 tackles, came out for one possession with cramps, and LSU gave up a touchdown drive. But that was definitely one of the most Les Miles games ever. 8 fricking forst downs the entire game

Does not meet the criteria but I was just curious of the game from Mond's first season and the stat line/result was pretty funny to me.

- 8/24, 180 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT, Won 19-17

Indeed...peak time for grey alternates (which seems to have thankfully passed).

Bryce young is definitely better than Joe burrow. Not even close.

Maybe 2018 Joe Burrow. Definitely not 2019 Joe Burrow. Point is Joe Burrow was a great college QB and even he struggled taking a good team into the Swamp.
