PSA: The final four isn't the barometer of a good basketball program

It's the barometer of a good single-season run.
When you start to talk about multiple final fours over several decades, sure, we can talk about said program being elite.
But these "muh basketball program is better than yours because we got one round further one year than yours ever has in a single-elimination tourney!!" posts get a bit annoying. No one would claim Georgia and Mississippi State have better basketball programs than Alabama and Tennessee, but troll on, I guess

I think a better measure of a basketball program’s strength is what % of the fanbase misses their weekend visits with their stepkids and their parole officers because they’re misty-eyed that tom petty passed away.

You basically called LSU elite, while calling out Auburn. I'll allow it.
ETA: I misread. You were implying that LSU fans are angry about Auburn claiming greatness. shite, let them have their fun.

Mississippi State's basketball program is better than Alabama's. Not sure why you would claim otherwise.

I'm not sure waht's funny about it, it's quite legitimate. If I played the bama game we could claim 27, 46, and 68 as well but we don't.

I think A lot of people would Claim Mississippi state has a better program than Alabama.
