Human psychology is a science as old as mankind itself. Coping mechanisms have long served as techniques to help sufferers from PTSD and myriad other ailments through difficult times.

After back to back dehumanizing defeats courtesy of Kirby and the Dawgs, it’s understandable that all the little gators are perhaps more vulnerable than usual. If posting threads that help them forget about recent arse whoopings and future annihilation helps them cope, it is not our job to derail them.

Statistically speaking, a gators win in the next few decades is inevitable. In the meantime, feel free to use these coping mechanisms (such as retweeting Mullen’s self-defeating gaffes) whenever PTSD from those UGA arse kickings plague your mind.

Nope, not really. Are we supposed to?

but, but, but they have owned the series since 1990 (because football didn't exist before then) and we haven't won a championship since 1980.

While that may be true, UGA has not lost to an East team in two years and beat every team by double digits in that span all while winning an SEC Champ, earning a CFP bid, beating Oklahoma(#1 pick and Heisman winner) in one of the greatest Rose Bowls of all time and taking the greatest dynasty to the wire two years in a row.

Cue the 1980 response.

Here's another PSA. Many Floridians have a screw loose and are capable of unspeakable acts. Case in point:

UG fans are really triggered this off season toward UF. I believe it is fear that Mullen is ahead of schedule in bringing the Gators back to Spurrier type domination of the mutts and that their window for winning the SEC or the East has closed. They realize that time has run out and their Daddy is coming home. 21 of 29 even through the turmoil of Muschamp and McElwain. Be afraid leg humpers, be very afraid.

And 1980 was soooooooo long ago.

If you read his face book profile you will find that he is a Auburn graduate.

Not a response thread Aubarn boy. Just want them to know that we don’t blame them for meltdowns that are likely to last throughout the summer.

And no, we are not scared of Mullen. We’ve played, and kicked his fricking arse, ever since he stepped foot in the trash pit that is Gainesville, FL.

Only teams in the SEC I’m “worried” about (although we may not necessarily play) are Bama, LSU, and A&M.

UF is an after thought. Auburn presents a more viable challenge than UF for God sakes.

Mullen stepped foot in Gainesville in 2005. He left for MSU for the 2009 season. At UF, he is 3-2 against UGA.

Georgia has completely choked away the huge lead you had in the All Time Series pre Steve Spurrier. Florida also has 3 National Championships since 1980 so I think they are doing just fine.

So you mean Mullen hasn't beaten UGA as a head coach at UF. Got ya.
