Pruitt is injecting himself into the Hurts-Tua tussle and trying to get both Bros.

to Knoxville. I can smell it. Course this based on a WAG. He will do anything to one up Kirby on the Smith deal. And anything to the power of 100 to win. And is obsessed. That ain't a WAG. Frick Fulmer for hiring the b**t**d. LOL! Dumber than Dabo (but not by much) and smarter than Danny Ford. Both who won the big one.

He has spoken to the parents. And is recruiting the younger Bro. who is committed to UA. You can bet your booty he is telling all four he tried to get Saban to replace Hurts with Tua way before he did.

Maybe. But there can be no doubt in your case if you think JP ain't hard after the younger one and the best way to get him is to get both and the parents. Younger bro just took a trip to Knoxville.

What every parent wants for their kid... a DC who doesn't know their role.

You mean he's trying to get Tua AND his little brother to Knoxville?

Why, so they can squander their QB careers? When was the last time Tennessee had a top flight QB? '98?

Yeah and you just took the time to ask a question you already knew the answer too.

So the defensive coordinator was making suggestions on who the starting QB should be?

I mean that's what I strongly suspect. Without question he is recruiting the younger one and without question would take the older one's transfer and consideration of a transfer by the older one has been admitted. Now you can bet none of this has escaped UA's coach. And yeah JP is in Knoxville so that's where he would bring them. Why would be so he can win. And asking JP about UT's QB history would be like judging the Coach @ UA in 2008 and basing the judgement upon Shula's history.

I know you're a sorry troll but let's actually break this down.

-The new "transfers can go anywhere they want" thing doesn't go into affect until October. So either Tua would have to request a transfer before the season (which he won't, bc he's about to start), or "waste" a year playing at bama this year before transferring
-He still has to automatically sit out a year anyway if he were to transfer
-I'm NOT positive on this but I THINK that an SEC to SEC transfer (not counting grad transfers or going to JUCO or something) requires 2 years sittting out

Basically you're saying Tua would give up the whole rest of his career where he's a shoo-in starter for the best team in america to maybe play 1 season in a dumpster fire for a first time head coach. Yeah, sounds plausible.

Kinda like trying to remember when UA was in 1958 and 2008. The Tide rolls in and the Tide rolls out. In other words shat happens.
