Word is that Jeremy Pruitt has been cleared by the
SEC.LINK /

The SEC bylaw reads, "where a member institution considers hiring an individual who has engaged in unethical conduct as defined under NCAA Bylaws or who has participated in activity that resulted, or may result, in a Level I, Level II or major infraction, the President or Chancellor of that member institution is expected to consult directly with the Commissioner prior to offering employment to the individual."

There is a large liability in preventing someone from having gainful employment of their choice.

The SEC don’t hand down punishment that Violated NCAA rules. The NCAA is not letting him off with nothing on this. He may coach again next year, but it will be under close supervision and with restrictions with off campus recruiting. The SEC isn’t the problem, it’s the NCAA that’s gonna be the wild card.

If this is true and Jermy takes his rightful place as DC in Tuscaloosa, then this place is going to be so much fun.

It’s not true and only what the NCAA says matters.

Hugh Freeze, who was providing escorts to recruits, is an active head coach in the SEC.

I do not care what anyone in this conference thinks about Jeremy Pruitt serving as a position coach or coordinator at Alabama.

You know I never refer to other fans or fanbases as "scared". It's dumb. No one's scared when it comes to football.

But I will say this. The thought of Jeremy Pruitt back at Alabama legit makes some folks nervous around these parts. That's one badass motherfricker to have on the Alabama sideline.

There will be more of a melt if Pruitt isn't the hire by Bammers than there will be by the rest of us if he is.

Well you would have to think between him and his wife they will definitely help nail the NIL thing. I mean if he can pay the players at Tennessee and get a two year penalty and be back in coaching, then why wouldn't you fricking cheat your arse off?
