They took the loss, and nobody got killed... it's the dawn of a new era!

I’m pretty sure some dogs paid the ultimate price, but that’s speculation. But so far so good. The day is early though so…

I think most of us, at least here, are still proud of what this Bama team was able to do. There were a number of times this season (Florida game, A&M loss, LSU game, Arkansas game, Iron Bowl) in which none of us would've believed it if you had told us we would be in the national championship. Certainly not a moral victory, as we're all disappointed, but I think when your team overachieves it makes it easier to take.

Plus, I am really excited about the potential for next year's Alabama team. Should have a very experienced defense. Bryce is back, we should have a good backfield (if it stays healthy), lots of talented young receivers who now have meaningful experience. Lots to look forward to.

I don't think you'll find many Bama fans who thought this team would be playing for a national championship.

It’s only Tuesday here in Tuscaloosa…. Let’s not celebrate the lack of killings too early.

This team played out of their minds this year - way over their heads. Extremely proud of them and the coaching staff for making it happen. It’s been a fun season. UGA had a great team.

You are taking the loss like a man. See if you convince all the crybabies now because they are some angry, sad , argument- shifting melters.

Well said.

With a few minutes left in the Iron Bowl, I think most of us thought this team had very little probability of making the playoffs, let alone accomplishing what happened afterwards.

95% of Bama fans have been complimentary and aren’t making excuses or talking shite. Same goes for most Georgia fans.

LSU fans, on the other hand…

It's when they win that their men tea bag opposing fans and their women piss in potted plants

To be honest though, we don't handle proxy victories very well.

Irrelevant is going 11-12 after winning a title.

Neither Alabama or Georgia seem capable of being that shitty.

Yeah, but I am particularly excited about next year's team. Could be one of our best Saban era teams yet if they stay healthy and whatnot.

So you are saying when you shite the bed you immediately shift your thoughts to the meanies at LSU? So psychological deflection as a coping technique? Sounds legit.

The better path might be to just stfu and take the loss with dignity like the OP.
