Texas A&M (68,426)
Florida (51,827)
Alabama (39,665)
Georgia (39,574)
South Carolina (35,575)
Missouri (33,266)
LSU (32,414)
Kentucky (30,727)
Tennessee (28,052)
Arkansas (27,194)
Auburn (26,553)
Ole Miss (24,248)
Mississippi State (21,622)
Vanderbilt (11,834)

Very interesting to see Alabama, South Carolina and UGA dueling it out for attendance money.

Remember, however, quality over quantity.

It is amazing how many students that you are allowing to "feel special for a college degree" in order to put money into your pockets.

In the mean time, you are diluting every one else's previous education and telling people that "bigger is better."

What does that accomplish other than handing out cheap diplomas and watering down the market?

Youre a state school. The only one with Quality in this conference is Vandy. Don't try to act like youre the Harvard of the south

Uga is a huge school. Tons of different colleges that cater to the Atlanta metro population. Very fine academic institution.

It's an average public school. Not difficult to get in.

This aspect of bragging about which giant state school is marginally better than the other is one of the funniest things on the Rant

UGA is a single University in Athens, GA by charter.

Other schools in your State have no association with your University.

Why do you automatically think that you "own" something that you never possessed the "ownership" before in history?

It's getting very difficult to get into UGA these days. 4.0 GPA students are being turned away.

Wow, this is crazy. Mizzou only trailed Texas A&M and Florida when we joined the SEC in 2012. Alabama is especially surprising for a smallish state with other major universities in it. I know they hand out schollies like crazy though. 30 or more on your ACT got several people I know a full ride there

Attendence money?WTF are you talking about? Incoming Freshman GPA 4,02 and 1400 SAT.Why would those be the standards if interested in "attendence money"?

You know how much money Auburn is making from metro Atlanta kids who have to pay out of state tuition because they can't get into UGA?

I was not aware that this thread was about "UGA" to begin with.

Where was that implied? And why are you so distraught?

GT is tied with UF for #8.

Emory and GT cater to a completely different clientele. Emory is a small private school that is on an ivy-league level. GT is largely an engineering school.
