The reality is, the SEC Championship will probably rotate between several major stadiums in a few years. But UT will rarely, if ever, be a participant

This. Nashville with a dome would be the spot. Yes, the air connections are not as good as ATL, but it's much more centrally located, and a great tourist destination.

I keep hearing this but the swc and big 12 were full of feckless refugees.

This is the sec and you won’t hear the “Texas ruined our conference” stories from LSU, Alabama, Georgia Florida or auburn.

The collective football know how shows why this conference is now taking blue bloods in Texas and OU.

If you hear anything from the strong original programs, it will be how we diluted our own conference by adding non-fits since 2012, not because one program ruined it.

You guys are both massive twats, but I actually agree with you that UT will find their way to Atlanta before A&M does.

Texas is already almost a Blue state. Every time I go there it’s weirder and more woke. I’d hold off on the Arch hype - lotta of good coaches were nice and gave offers out of respect for the name, but clearly didn’t want him. No Manning would actually want to be at texas.
