First team in almost 25 seasons with great athletes at every position in the triple option. Weak SEC teams won’t be able to handle 65 plays of 230 pound backs and speed demons outrunning defenders on the outside with dual threat QBs tucking it when needed. The rest of college football follows and we’re back in the golden days of grown arse man football.

Another power move made by Nick Saban when everyone thinks he’s turning into late career Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno. Enjoy Alabama being a gatekeeper once again.

Agreed.

Option 1: Lose to Daddy LSU by 20
Option 2: Lose to Daddy LSU by 30
Option 3: Lose to Daddy LSU by 40

Imagine being Bryce Young and discovering your new team will be running the triple option.

This would just convince me he’s becoming late career Les Miles

I don't think "gatekeeper" means what you think it means.

Before Saban when we couldn’t get a coach , Paul Johnson’s name was coming up . I had Sleepless nights worrying he would be hired

I remember being relieved when the Rich Rod thing fell apart. Didn’t take long for me to un-wish that one.

All Alabama has to do is to look at Georgia Yech and their history with the Tri-O. The master of it, Paul Johnson, was sent into retirement and is now eating grass in the pasture land.

Interesting.

The last time I thought of those 2 words together, was thinking of Billy Tater wishing for a another bone in his arse.
