It's early, but anyone wanna give some predictions on the big early season OOC games?

LSU will trash FSU. FSU will be good. LSU will be better. They might even jump us (UGA) for the #1 spot early if they really break one off in them.

Utah will mop the floor with the Gators. They were probably a bit intimidated last season with UF coming in with a new coach and the whole SEC aura and everything. Then the Gators lost to freakin Vanderbilt, got prison-raped in the bowl game and basically turned into a dumpster fire. I don't think they're gonna be scared this time.

The Aggies will edge out Miami. And it's a good thing, because if they lose this one, it'll send the message that NOTHING has changed from last season's debacle.

Auburn will take down Cal. They better, cuz if they drop one to a 4-9 Smack-12 team, they're in for a looong season.

Drum roll...I think Bama drops one against the Horns and Saban is in trouble right out of the gate. It's more than just the way that game ended last season. I would have picked the Tide to win had Saban not reached for Buchner. That tells me he's got real concerns about their QB situation.

Mizzou upsets KSU...not sure my reasoning, just a feeling.

And of course, UGA will squeak by that bastion of football greatness, UT-Martin.

What say you experts?

As a corn dog myself, I wish I shared your confidence in LSU beating Florida State.

It’s not that I don’t think LSU is going to be a title threat (distant, distant second to UGA) but Florida state is getting everyone back and hit the lotto in the transfer portal. I think they’ll run away with the ACC.

I could see the Alabama upset, but I’ll never hold my breath with them. I think Aggie beats Miami but isn’t exactly an indicator. Cristobal is a less shitty Ed orgeron. I like the Missouri upset pick, but drink has an awful face so who knows

Also I see it’s popular to pick against Florida in the preseason. Did they just lose everyone? I liked their class and still like Napier.

Well, I agree. 'Trash' might have been a strong word there for LSU over FSU. FSU returns alot of talent.

I'm glad we play each other regularly now.

Just wish it'd be home and homes. That 2007 game in Chapel Hill was FUN.

I think this will be a good game and may very well go down to the wire, like last year.

Bama grinds down the shorthorns at home.
Gators upset the yutes
Miami beats down Ags
Mizzou? Sure….why not

LSU-F$U will be very close, but LSU will win the close one this season.

Bama will beat Texass and Miami will beat the Ags narrowly.

Eh...probably not. I bet there's gonna be some LSU fans on this forum that will feel that they should though.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking about SC vs NC. Forgive me, but I really haven't paid much attention. How much talent did NC lose from last year? Are they gonna give the Cocks a fight?

Its spencer Rattler vs Drake Maye. so two first round QB's arm talent wise. UNC feels pretty confident and the betting line is pretty even.

Carolina-Clemson should also be a good one. Obviously they feel they upgraded at OC and QB. Anyways those two games are games that SC can do their part to put the ACC down
