Any word about how cohesive the team and locker room are this year?
Any issues since the Orgeron/Canada drama?
Do you think the team will react positive/negative with how much of a dire need it was to take a new Quarteback?

Well he's followed a bunch of our WRs/TEs on instagram and I believe most of them followed him back so they've got good chemistry.

Maybe so but to be that desperate to bring a QB does not bode well for the confidence of the other QB’s.
What if Burrow bombs or gets injured?
These other QB’s have already been diminished now.
On paper this looks great but it can have some bad consequences for the team if it does not work out. Could be a lot of fall out.
Obviously it is the old big risk , big reward scenario. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

That's how I feel. Pretty spot on with your post.
To add to that, there are players that still remember last year. Nothing ever came out about what truly happened with Canada, but O better hope he has some luck on his side this season. It could be really good, or very ugly.

Unlike Arkansas and Moo State, players who come to LSU expect to compete against the best. The’ll be fine because they know if they are the best they will play.

What is it you're saying? We never should've gotten Burrows because it would hurt the feelings of the guys that didn't win the job?
Our QB battle b4 Burrows was btwn an average career backup, a talented but skittish prospect that is about 40 lbs. underweight, and a project who proved he has a long way to go.

I am not saying anything really. I said it is big risk , big reward scenario. I do not know the circumstances behind his decision i. e. If initiated contact w/LSU or if LSU approached him when they heard he was leaving OSU.
Just that the chemistry of the team could be affected in a good way or bad way.
No matter how they may dismiss it, the psyche of the existing QB’s are diminished because they know the Coach (es) have zero confidence in them.
Now having said that, it is a no brainer that the staff would go after him and they are now glad he is in the fold. Hopefully for LSU , he will win the starting job and be successful.
We will see what happens this fall.
