I hate these type threads so frick me for starting it but lots of chatter between you guys all weekend so let's see what you got.
1. Georgia
2. South Carolina
3. Missouri
4. Tennessee
5. Kentucky
6. Florida
7. Vandy
Georgia is the most talented team in the east by a very wide margin and they proved that the staff is pretty damn good last year. If Kirby doesn't destroy the east then Georgia fans have reason to worry.
USC is improving and I like their team but they are really benefitting with Tennessee and Florida being down. The way Champ is going he will probably be right with them if or when they come back up. Love coach Muschamp.
I like Pruitt and think he will at least get them to a bowl and make them suck a lot less at least.
Florida is in trouble imo. They still don't have a quarterback and the talent level is nowhere near what it should be. New staff, new system and drawing LSU in the west is tough for Mullen this year. They gonna be below average again.
Kentucky is Kentucky.
Vandy is Vandy.

I agree with this, but I’d flip Kentucky and Tennessee.

Georgia: runs away with division
Florida: looks like a functional team, still not great and will need to turn it around in recruiting
South Carolina: seem to be everyone's dark horse pick. Not confident in their offense and could see them finishing lower.
Mizzou: not much conviction here, but don't expect them to be great. Likely to score a lot of points.
Tennessee: I think they will be better than under Butch, but the schedule is absolutely brutal.
UK: Snell is a good player, but much like Ralph Webb for vandy last year, one good running back does not a dumpster fire extinguish.
Vandy: Who will pick up Derek Mason as a defensive coordinator?

I believe the game with Georgia will be a lot closer than some seem to think. Even if we pull it off, we'll more than likely screw up somewhere else.

1. Georgia going away
2-7. The rest...god only knows how it will shake out. Soooo many variables and unknowns coming into the season.

I wish you Florida haters would actually bet against them so I get better odds . Same for people pumping up USCe . On betus.com the over/under for wins on the season is 7.5 games and everyone is betting the over on UF and the bets are even for USCe.

Much more serious than initially thought. Fromm not expected to be ready until mid season at the earliest.
Fields has maturity questions and struggling to grasp playbook.
QB situation not looking good.

There is no reason for anyone to pick SC over Georgia and really it’s likely SC loses at UF so I could see SC finishing 3rd.
But I do want to mention something about the offense for all of you not following the Cocks that closely.
One of the most overpaid OC’s in history was fired at the end of last season. Roper sucked his one season at UF with an offense ranked in the 90’s and he sucked for 2 seasons at SC with both years offense being ranked 100+.
SC promoted McClendon to OC for the bowl game. Against Michigan’s #3 ranked defense and after taking the 1st half to get comfortable in his first time calling plays, the offense exploded in the 2nd half and put up 220 yards and 23 points in the half and went on to beat Michigan.
Now that bowl game may have just been a fluke but maybe it was a sign of how good McClendon might be.
But others need to also know that Dan Werner was added to the staff to help run the offense. Dan Werner was co-OC at Ole Miss when Ole Miss was putting up 500 yards a game a couple of years ago.
SC’s offense may still struggle this season but I can tell you the Spring game showed an offense that moved the ball incredibly efficiently and fast when Bentley was in the game. The offense may surprise a lot of people this season.

2. S Carolina/Florida
4. Missouri
5. Kentucky
6. Tennessee
7. Vandy
I put S Carolina and Florida both at second place because I think those two along with Georgia are the only teams with any realistic chance to win the division.
