Vs Baylor (in Houston) L
Vs Southeast Missouri W
Vs Auburn L
At LSU L
Vs Alabama L
At Vanderbilt W
Vs Florida L
Vs UCONN W
At Texas A&M L
At Arkansas W
Vs Georgia Southern W
Vs Mississippi State W

Add a win in a bottom tier bowl and a 7-6 year one would create a lot of positive momentum for Lane on the recruiting trail in Oxford.

15-0. Their first of many Natty's. (Wait... is that what the cool kids call a national championship or the douches call one?"

And I thought UConn gave up football after this year.

Kiffin is not taking the ole piss job. That would be dumb. He would be fired in 2 or 3 years if he does not leave after year 1 that is. I believe he will stick it out at Boca til a better offer comes that better suits him.

So, in essence, giving up football.

Going to the Big East in basketball, though.

His debut truly depends on who he brings along with him for the ride. Let’s not forget that he had that Tennessee team in some situations that could have gone a different direction had some minor circumstances prevailed.

I can only assume that his buy-in to the program involves developing Plumlee into a weapon in the passing game. That could theoretically be a scary venture lest we’ve all forgotten the Manziel era.

Honestly, this would be the very best he could do at Ole Miss.

He's never demonstrated himself to be a competent head coach and being at Ole Miss would make it even more difficult.

He will have a shot at bowl eligibility with that schedule. Which could open up some recruitment opportunities.

As much as I like to laugh at the Ole Miss, Arkansas and Mississippi States in the west it is a much more interesting season when they are at least respectable.

Gonna be fun at Media Days!

Tbh I'm afraid of Kiffin with Michael Vick Plumlee.

That is truly the scariest aspect of all. Season-destroyers at the least assuming the development process yields some success.
