Yep. Pissed me off, even though they won. Should’ve been a blowout.

I love how these fans of other schools talk about luck regarding us. As if their schools' FB teams have never had any.....

That play only happened bc UGA was gifted a TD on 4th and goal that wasn't even actually a TD. The refs tried everything they could to give that game to UGA and they still couldn't hold on

This has already been discussed. He didn’t score but he did get face masked. That’s 1st down on the 1. You always leave that detail out.

When I saw that Nick Marshall overthrow I knew that we had won...then the tip. Auburn would be the worst SEC team without all the horseshoes they stick up their fat asses.
Actually the pass was way short and only made it to Louis because of the tip.
I love the view of the play from behind Nick Marshall where you can see despair turn to ecstasy in the Auburn student section in the blink of an eye.
Of course, if Trey Matthews or Josh Harvey-Clemons had just slapped it away, the game is over. Funny aftermath, in the Auburn 2015 spring game (after Matthews had transferred and sat a year), he FINALLY got his interception in Jordan-Hare, only to immediately be flagged for excessive celebration. Harvey-Clemons then picked JJ in the 2015 Chick Fil A Game after he transferred to Louisville. Not that picking JJ was some kind of an elite feat.

Yeah it was like LSU's "Bluegrass Miracle" play against Kentucky in 2002: our own WR Clayton tipped the ball forward so Henderson had a shot at it

Yep, and the tip only came to Louis because he failed to do what every wr should do in that situation, which is challenge the defenders for the ball.

While true, without the Prayer at JH the Kick Six is moot. If Auburn loses to UGA Alabama clinches the West that night. Kick Six would have sucked for sure, but Alabama would have been in Atlanta anyway.

Not to mention, Coates was wide open on the other side of the field.

The Prayer IMO was a poorly played game...it was the first time Auburn fans got to see Gus choosing to go away from what was obviously working in an effort to show he's an offensive genius.
Murray didn't score though Auburn's D played so poorly they deserved to give up the TD...there was uncalled holding on the catch...NM had predetermined his throw otherwise he'd of hit Coates and Auburn would have won the game on a FG and nobody would start these stupid threads.

did he break the plan to tie it 37 pending the extra point though?

Y'all had awful luck with injuries that year, I remember Gurley went down against us, that probably kept the game closer than it would've been otherwise but still lost. Maybe the best offensive performance of the Miles era went for naught

Those injuries turned a national title contender into an 8-5 team.

Classic Jawja fan...makes excuses for losing claiming the opponent ran the play incorrectly.

This. He was unstoppable in the 4th.

Are you claiming that running 10 yards past where the ball comes down is the correct way to run that play?
It worked out of course but you're a damn fool if you think that's how it was supposed to work.

Isn't that the game Fairley should have been ejected for targeting Murray under the face mask (IIRC, Murray was bleeding from the chin for a bit)? And then he speared someone else (maybe Murray again) and caused a bit of brawl with the Georgia OL?
I fricking hated Trooper Taylor...

Its what happens when you try to take a guys knees out because you cant block him. Chop blocked his arse a few times early and finally got called for it. Then he turned into a animal that UGA had no answer for.
