I think the biggest will just be another year of jimbo’s system. And another year with this defensive scheme.
Sumlins defenses were so soft. The Ags showed a lot more toughness last year. I guess it’s a culture thing. Hoping that continues.

Positives:
Kelly Bryant, Larry Rountree, Johnathon Johnson, Yasir Durant, Trevor Wallace-Simms, Albert O, Derek Dooley, Jordan Elliot, Cale Garrett, Demarkus Acy, New Stadium Upgrade, Manageable Schedule, David Gibbs,
Negatives: Inexperienced Pass Rushers, will Safeties Improve, NCAA hates us.

Great point. The lazy culture is gone.

-Head coach is pretty solid
-Starting QB is best in conference
-secondary will be way better
-WR group is elite top to bottom
-Team will be extremely hungry

Defensive backfield and linebackers will be better overall this year.
Frank's should be improved, but if he doesnt Jones is a talented back up. So first time in years I feel good about the position coming into the year
Our WR and RB core is as good as it's been in a very long time.
Continuity of staff is a good thing
Second years are usually a huge leap from the first for coaches...and he won 10 games his first year. Spells a very good season for us potentially

We have a legit QB heading into the season, no question mark as to who's leading the offense

Returning senior QB with 32 starts under his belt.
Good good group of WRs that includes two big time playmakers in Edwards and Shi.
Excellent group of TEs.
Experienced OLine.
DLine is talented and much more experienced and deeper. Bigger, stronger, faster.
Finally some talented depth in the secondwry.
Questions still at RB and LB.
What I am most encouraged about is the two new assistant coaches Brown at RB and Scott on the DLine. Both are proven at their positions.
Depth is just so much better across the board at all positions and some of the young guys who were forced into playing last year are a year older with a year in the weight room and system under their belts. We really had to play too many freshmen last year.

-One of the, if not THE, most explosive RBs in the conference.
-A top 2 or 3 TE in the league.
-Returning the WR who led the league in receptions along with every other meaningful pass catcher.
-The DL has to be better since most of them are back and have been playing a lot with improvement year-by-year.
-Athletic LB core...but not a lot of experience.
-The schedule lays out pretty well, even with LSU on the schedule instead of Arkansas.

Good young playmakers who should make a splash. Arkansas actually has a competition between two quarterbacks who are capable of throwing a forward pass.

No McGriff so maybe our defense will actually pay attention to what's going on.
No Longo so our offense will run ACTUAL plays and not just RPO Get Open.

Rule #1 : Never say it cant get any worse. Because it can.
If we do worse we just need to shut down the football program. Doing worse literally involves us losing 3 of Western Kentucky, San Jose State, Portland State, and Colorado State all in Fayetteville and losing all of our SEC games. I truly dont think that is possible.

We as Alabama fans are positive Alabama will win the NC this season, as usual.

- Should have the best defensive line we have had in a while
- Secondary should be very solid
- Gus is back calling plays
- We still have a kicker named Carlson
- Offensive line should gel and give us a chance to run the ball

Positive: Ridiculous talent
Negative: Mentally mindfricked by Alabama

Finally, LSU has a real offense. No more toss dives. We may actually complete a screen pass. Best quarterback since Matt Flynn. We’ve been highly competitive with one arm behind our back. Now we have two. Watch out “we comin”.
