I hope Bama fans had a great stay and enjoyed their time here. Congrats on the W - if this had been a top 5 matchup and we had high expectations, the loss would have been a heartbreaker and tough to get up from given all the what ifs in this game. I don’t think the team nor the fan base sees it that way though. If this is what we have to look forward to in the SEC every game I’m here for it. Honest opinions on any Tide fans in the Rant that were in attendance…how were you treated? How was the crowd and game atmosphere? 105,000+ was a new record. Enough procedure penalties had me realizing it was what DKR can be and not what it necessarily usually is. The transition to the SEC will make this more commonplace. Texas exhibited much closer to an ‘SEC ready’ style of play yesterday that hasn’t been seen in a while. Sucks we couldn’t find one more play to find the win but the positive feel about Sark and the program if this performance can be bottled up and repeated is palpable.

I see now that Auburn is going to have some real competition as the moral victory champs in this conference.

Paragraphs boy. Learn to use them.
Texas played much better than expected. They did great in the game. Bama shot themselves in the pecker. A lot. I expect Saban is going to crawl into some people's behind this week and get that straightened out but this was a, dare I say it, a good loss for Texas.

BAMA fans injured in Austin
LINK
Several Alabama football fans are recovering after being hit by a car Friday while in Austin, Texas for the Crimson Tide's big game against the Longhorns.
WVTM 13's Rick Karle learned the group of Alabama season ticket holders had just wrapped up lunch at Hills Country of Austin on Friday when a car lost control and crashed into another vehicle, causing it to hit the group. Six of the Tide fans were injured and taken to local hospitals.
“We finished lunch at a Mexican restaurant, and 7 of us gathered at our van as one of our friends went back to get the car keys. My husband Bubba saw the out-of-control car as we waited outside the van," Darlene Lewis told Rick Karle. “The car was speeding through a gas station parking lot and directly into our parking lot. The car came at us so fast, there was nowhere to run."
One of the victims suffered a broken back and tailbone. Another sustained broken ribs and a concussion. The others suffered various injuries, some serious.

Running down opposing fans is taking competition a little too hard. Was the owner of the car named Ewers?

I sure hope Alabama plays that bad again when they come to Fayetteville. That was about the most lackluster effort I've ever seen out of a Bama team. No way Bama is anywhere near as bad as they looked in that game.

Pay no attention to the rival fans on this board that pretend to be UA fans.

Couldn’t have been The PoPo towed his vehicle last week

Good post. Some of the responses in this thread make me wonder if they actually read it, and probably not.
I wasn't there but the crowd was obviously intense and I could feel the atmosphere through the television. It was awesome. Texas played great, and if they can keep up that focus and intensity they'll be much more ready for the SEC than I thought they'd be.

Obviously Texas fans don't know what they're starting by trying to kill Bama fans after a game.

My nephew said it was like a SEC environment. Said it was loud like Baton Rouge. Said he had no incidents other than the usual trash talk that occurs between students of opposite teams in the game. Then he said he was shot down by a few UTx girls.

I read it.
But yes, you need to start using paragraphs because that was painful.
