So far just 3 outlets have released polls.... plenty more will follow in the coming weeks, including all the major preseason mags. With that said, I'll be updating this frequently. With 3 polls so far (ESPN, CBS, USA Today), here are how the rankings look:
***NOW UPDATED TO INCLUDE SPORTING NEWS:
1. Alabama- 99
2. Clemson- 97
3. Georgia- 88
3. Ohio St.- 88
5. Wisconsin- 82
6. Oklahoma- 79
7. Washington- 75
8. Miami- 66
9. Penn St.- 65
10. Michigan St.- 62
11. Auburn- 56
12. Michigan- 54
13. Notre Dame- 50
14. Stanford- 39
15. Mississippi St.- 32
16. Virginia Tech- 31
16. TCU- 31
16. USC- 31
19. W. Virginia- 30
20. Boise St.- 35
21. UCF- 18
22. Texas- 14
23. Florida Atl- 9
23. LSU- 9
25. Texas A&M- 8
25. Oklahoma St.- 8
25. Florida St.- 8
Other SEC:
28. S. Carolina- 6
31. Florida- 4
**LSU MOVES INTO THE TOP 25
Thoughts:
*I know its early, but its amazing to see Florida Atlantic AND UCF both ahead of Florida and Florida State.... unreal.
*It appears LSU's streak of 17 consecutive appearances in the AP Preseason Top 25 may come to an end. These consensus post spring ratings are usually a fairly accurate predictor of the AP Poll. Again, its early but LSU averaging out for a 5th place finish in the West so far. OUCH.
*The BIG 10 is being severely overrated.... Five teams in the Top 11 is just not going to happen.

Of course Ohio State is top 3.

Seems a little high with what they have coming back and their HC. I am on record as saying the wheels start falling off in year 2.

Michigan is a bigger joke. What big game have they won in recent memory?

I've said this many times to Florida fans. They should be worried. If Mullen doesn't work out, it could hurt them even worse. They aren't just competing with FSU and Miami anymore with the state talent pool.

UF is not going to lose a recruit to FAU, FIU or UCF.
Kiffen will be gone after this season, Frost is already gone

You are looking foolish. Stop letting your hate for UF do that to you.
At no time in the future will a recruit prefer to go to FAU over FSU/Miami/UF other than the one off here and there. It's just not a thing for kids here.

Give me one example of UF losing a recruit to FAU or UCF.

That'll last until about 8 minutes into their opener. Oklahoma is going to hammer them.

Daunte Culpepper is all I got for big time recruits and I'm not sure how much the big three wanted him at the time. It's been so long ago

He couldn't get in to UF academically. Both Miami and UF stopped recruiting him because he couldn't qualify. His SAT score was too low.

Of course while a Wake Forest fan mocks Miss State's ranking, he's just dying to play us.

Pretty sure he's an Auburn Fan. You guys have fans that rep other logos as well.

Then he claimed he was sticking with his UCF commitment because of loyalty to them?
I forgot about that.
I forgot about that.

I didn't say it has happened. I said it's possible in the future.
No one thought UCF would beat Auburn. Guess what? It happened.
For you Florida fans to say it will never happen is dumb.
I'm not saying they're going to take everyone, just saying you now have them to compete with. Easier requirements, money being dumped into their programs, and easier competition.
edit: Not talking about 5* players if that is what you Florida fans are thinking.

Could be but as far as Msu goes, I don't pull that garbage myself. You gotta lack a life to troll like that.
