First....The reason they are no longer ranked is because they did suffer losses.
Second...You can't have it both ways. The idiots that ranked them also rank you, so......are they right or wrong.
Third....This is the reason why NO polls should be out prior to week 6. EVER. Then and only then can you even begin to make a half arse'd educated assessment of who's who in regards to rankings. Any then, nobody would have been given credit for beating a supposed #2 team at the beginning of the season if they can't win the first 3 games of the year.
Fourth....I SHOULD be acceptable to be a two loss team and be ranked #3......assuming the two losses were to #1 and #2 and you beat #4. (A&M scenario)
Hell, maybe rankings prior to week 8 are useless.

I may give you Miami, but not Auburn, we just broke their asses. As Saban said, we made them quit. Their ranking was deserved at the time.
