They extended their contact to Jimbo for additional years and gave him a $2 million raise.
This was Jimbo’s year to win the “Natty” as Aggies like to call it.
The Aggies proclaimed to have the best defense in the nation, because they returned several starters and hold teams like Prairie View, N Mex St and Colorado to low yardage.
They ragged on Texas for losing to a bottom SEC team in Arkansas but are now silent.
They blamed the refs for their loss, as always.
And they have already started their battle cry of, “Wait till next year!”
