I came across a stat that shows that through the 2008-2020 seasons, while Nick has been making his run to GOAT status, Alabama has played 83 top25 teams and 44 top10 teams. That averages out to be approximately 6.5 top25 and 3.5 top10 teams a year over that span. I thought that seemed a bit higher than I expected.
How many top teams has your team faced in that time frame? Am I wrong in thinking that's a really tough slate? Are there teams playing tougher competition than that?

Considering the playoffs ensure 1-2 top ten teams (2014 is the only time Alabama didn't play 2 games when making the playoffs), that kind of tracks.
2020 - 3 top 10 teams, 6 total top 25 teams
2019 - 1 top 10 teams, 4 top 25
2018 - 4, 6
2017 - 4, 6
2016 - 4, 10
2015 - 5, 9
2014 - 2, 7
2013 - 3, 5
2012 - 4, 6
2011 - 2, 5
2010 - 3, 8
2009 - 4, 6
2008 - 4, 5
By my count 43 top 10 teams, 83 top 25 teams (I may have miscounted a top 10 team as 11th or such)
