For me (and most other Mizzou fans)I'd have to say QB James Franklin... He wasn't the most potent offensive weapon but he hardly ever turned the ball over. We went to the SEC Championship game while he was leading us.
Then once he left Matty Mauk couldn't stop snorting coke, there was a hunger strike, and GP left.

Michael Bennett, man. That guy caught everything, when he came into form. Kris Durham, same thing. I miss watching Richard Samuel plow through people, after being told he wasn't "good" enough to play at linebacker. Which, to be fair, he lacked lateral quickness, but was a ball player! Good memories.

Nick Marshall. You know, the QB that couldn’t throw and Jeremy Johnson was going to come in and drop dimes on people.

Pat DiMarco, fullback when Lattimore was our RB. Dude opened up all kinds of holes, and he had good hands.

I appreciated him at the time, but damn, I sure do miss Javier Arenas.

Josh Dobbs. His play carried Butch Jones pathetic arse.

For me as an Auburn fan, Mine is Nick Marshall, He was really a baller and a great leader. Kid had one of the strongest arms I have ever seen. I haven't seen many QBs in any level throw the ball 65 yards with a half step off balance throw like he did against Ole Miss.

Brandon Cox.
After Jason Campbell, but before Kodi Burns 2008 tony franklin meltdown.
Cox won some big games.

This is a REALLY good one, Dobbs was such a beast that he even made Butch Jones defensible (for a little)

John David Moore.
That dude was blowing bitches up left and right in 2015, opening huge holes and making Fournette look All-World. Fournette still did well after Moore went down, but it was never the same as early in the year when Moore was clearing the way.

Its been said already, but Josh Dobbs signlehandedly won us so many games while he was here, in spite of Butch's coaching. Once he graduated, Butch Jones got exposed for the fraud he was
