I'm so happy for yall. Reminds me of the Coach O hire here: get a proven assistant who genuinely wants to be there even if he doesn't have the HC resumé

When choosing a sidekick fandom for VOLS, pencil me in as an Arkansas fan by proxy because of Pittboss

He looks like a good guy and coach. Similar to Orgeron but he’ll need to seriously upgrade the talent to win a NC like Orgeron did.

lol we're obviously not going to win a NC, but the goal here is to consistently win 7/8ish with double digit years sprinkled in

Not probable but it’s possible Arkansas may win one if everything falls right. As College Football is set up there are only like 40-50 teams that can and Arkansas is one of those.
For all the posturing I don’t think A&M has a better shot than Arkansas at winning one. Neither is impossible of course.

Nah it's less than that
I'd say 20-25 are actually capable

When it means more than a just a job, it's hard to not pull for a guy. Kirby buying his time and getting to come home to UGA, O getting the chance to return to LSU, and Pittman returning to Arkansas which he seems to truly love...hard to beat those moments.

Isolating just one season maybe only 4-5 teams are good enough to do it. Some years maybe less, but being able to field a team good enough at some point If breaks fall right list hopefully is bigger.

Pittboss does seem like a pretty decent dude.
In time, I really think he will get yall back on track.

Yep, I think football is more fun when it's like that as well. The passion is amplified when the coaches have a deep connection to the school.

There is no doubt. Every coach wants to win, but when there are deeper roots than a paycheck, it's tough for me to root against those guys. I don't think UGA or LSU could've landed better options bringing back alums. Pittman obviously has some deep roots in Arkansas and I wish him nothing but the best. He was a DAMNGOODDAWG while in Athens and extremely personable. The guy might not ever put up the numbers but he was a great pick up for Arkansas. Wish he would've stayed in Georgia but the guy has been long overdue to make his mark.

Well, as he said, first you have to recruit everyone back including current players, former players, alumni and fans.
Welp, I'm just a 2* alum and fan but I signed my LoI 9 months ago. Been a while since I've watched that video. Kind of gives you goosebumps. Been a long shitty road since Bobby put on a neck brace.

I do believe that a few of us as fans, could write a book about all that we have been through and it would be a best seller. "Hawgs of Hell" as a title.
