Looks like it's A&M's year to prove themselves.

ATM couldn’t get to 5 in a middle school league.

That top seven ( minus OSU ) looks like an LSU road kill list.

A&M has a favorable schedule going into the year- 3 new coaches in their division, not a single P5 OOC opponent, and the East opponents are South Carolina and Vanderbilt. Can't get much easier than that.

I usually agree with Phil Steele's picks but this year is way different.
A&M wayyyyyyyy too high
ND too high
USC too high
Florida probably a little too low ( )
Michigan too high
Miami and VA Tech maybe a little too high
Auburn a little too low

I'd switch Texas A&M and Oklahomo.
Probably have to question if Tennessee belongs in Top 25.
Everything else looks good.

I’m sorry Hugh but having A&M ranked above Georgia is pretty silly. Bama should not be top three but be 5th imho. I definitely agree with Ohio St and Clemson being 1 & 2.

Please- you can't be serious. Oklahoma is a perennial conference favorite. Texas A&M has never even won the division.
Tennessee finished the season with a six game win streak. It's reasonable to place them where they are.
Tennessee didn't get blown out by 43 points in November like your team did.

I don’t understand why people insist on putting Oklahoma in the top 8 every year.

.aggy at number 5 is only because they’re in the SEC West. If they were in the SEC East they’d be at #1 and already be awarded the Natty.

Was this predicated on the season going ahead as planned with no cancellations? That soft schedule was all Aggy had going for them

Time will tell, at least I hope.
