Ole Miss would like to change from Vandy to Tennersea for the easier W.

The addition of Lane Train to the mix also adds spice.

We’d have to do some other adjusting. Bama needs a more difficult opponent than Vandy or Tennersea.

So...you want to trade a rival that ole miss has a 54% winning percentage against and where they have won 5 of the last 7 games, to one that they have a 31% winning percentage against and where they have won 2 of the last 15. That sounds like a good call.

Tennersea’s trajectory is downward. Besides, yesterday has nothing to do with tomorrow. I like our chances. Vandy pretty much owns Tennessee athletics right now.

Or we could do what the PAC 12 does with their cross-division.

The California schools are mandated to play each other every year. Two are in the south division (UCLA and USC) and two are in the north division (Cal and Stanford). Since they play 9 conference games, that leaves one rotating cross-divisional game amongst the remaining 4 schools each year.

Except for Tennessee-Alabama 1901 and 102 games, Ole Miss vs. Vanderbilt 1894 and 94 games, and Georgia-Auburn 1892 and 124 games, none are long standing, or real rivalries. Florida-LSU is the next best thing to one, and LSU rejects it!

Florida vs. LSU, 1937 but not regular opponents until 1971, 66 games.
Kentucky vs. Mississippi State, 1914 and 46 games, but didn’t play regularly until 1992 merger
Arkansas vs. Missouri, 1906 with 11 games. Rivalry created 2014.
South Carolina vs. Texas A&M. 2014 with 6 games. The odd man out rivalry created in 2014.

Can you give me a reason why spelling Tennessee "Tennersea" is supposed to be some kind of burn? Also your schools record vs Vandy in football is 50–40–2, our record vs them is 76–33–5, maybe you need to get a little bit bigger of lead on them before you start talking. There is another team from Tennessee that seems to have been spanking that arse lately if i recall correctly, they might be interested in becoming an official rival?

The fact that South Carolina/A&M play every year and Texas/A&M don't is just retarded.

OK, genius.

Tennersea is on the downward side of its trajectory curve. It is past its apex.

Listen-everyone knows Tennersea sucks these days. Your coach doesn't even know what asparagus is.
