Well LSU you get to keep UF on your schedule. I know you're relieved.

Why is this not an issue for UF?

No, they mean we will definitely keep Arkansas, and they'll keep us. Now, does it mean that there will be two permanent cross-divisional games, or just one with two rotating games? That is the question.

The 6-2-1 format is the 6 divisional opponents, 2 rotating cross-divisional opponents, and your 1 permenant cross-divisional opponent.

I'm also pretty sure that USCe's permenant cross-divisional opponent will swap over to TAMU starting in either 2014 or 2015, while Arky will get Mizzou. I'm guessing they want to do that so they can try and foster a forced rivalry between Arky & Mizzou. Maybe they can calling it the battle of the Ozarks or something corny like that.

I think it's already called the Battle for the Golden Shopping Cart.

Good question, I haven't heard a single Gator whine about having to play LSU every year in addition to their division rivals.

Heck, it's the LSU folks that won't quit whining about having to play UF in every other thread posted on this board.

To be fair, Gators aren't really well represented on this site. And not as many LSU fans complain about it as people think.

They're not keeping the SCar/Mizzou Battle of Columbus?

Well you don't hear the coaches, AD, or president at UF stating that they want to stop playing LSU every year. As a matter of a fact, every time I've heard a representative of UF talk about it, they have always talked about how much they like playing the annual game.

And as far as LSU fans go, I can't speak for the fans that don't frequent this board, but there sure are a lot on here that like to bring it up multiple times in a day.

I know, right. That is a travesty of the highest order for sure. Who isn't going to miss the Battle of Columbus? It's a darn shame if you ask me.

It's just something else for them to whine about since 1/9/12.

Not really, there's just one particular a-hole that bring it up all the time.

True, LSU just has a few hard-core whiners that won't ever dry up their tears.

I don't think so IMO. I think A&M and USCe will become permanent cross division rivals and Arky will get Mizzou.
