According to Matt Hayes on the radio.

2014's bridge schedule will be a 6-1-1 schedule and 2015 and on will be a 6-2-1 schedule, allowing all 7 permanent opponent matchups to remain intact.

Well LSU you get to keep UF on your schedule. I know you're relieved.

So, a nine game conference schedule beginning in 2015?

Owell, let's do it and get it over with. ESPN needs the inventory.

Eta: So I guess Gamecock fans can assume we will keep Arkansas and add aTm as our permanent cross-divisional rivals and then rotate the other five Western Division opponents once a decade for a home and home?

Or, is the 6-2-1 a two rotating opponents system? We keep Arkansas and the other two are rotating opponents from the West?

Yep.

And all your games are day games now too.

Who's got the Big 4 sigs?

In other news, I guess UGA can kiss cool non-conference games goodbye in 2015

Sounds good to me. Good for college football. Good for the LSU-Florida rivalry, as well.

And they'll continue to play Arkansas on a Friday, because the iron bowl will always trump the battle for the boot or whatever the frick y'all call that "rivalry"
