I don't understand why people think Auburn will be worse than last year. We return two of our three starting pitchers, most of our position players, and bring in a top 10 recruiting class

That hurts, as Alabama used to be a very good baseball program.

We lost a top 3 round CF and SP. Granted I think our pitching gets better but defensively we will be worse. Especially in the outfield. Bats I think will be a tick better, less steals. Catching should be significantly worse. Reliable bullpen arms are a question as well.

I think Auburn is a tournament team but not being top 25 right now isn't a far stretch.

These never mean much, but I'm surprised we're so low. We return a lot of key players from last years SR team. Canni will have a lot more to work with this year in our pitching rotation. Still have some great offensive leaders on this team i.e. Jake Mangum, Hunter Stovall, Cole Gordon. We may have one of the best Friday night guys and closers in the league this year with Konnor Pilkington and Riley Self. This team will be much improved all around from last years team IMO. I guess losing a Triple Crown winner doesn't sit well with voters. to the best time of the year. Can't wait for the new Dude.
