There have been 1,151 AP Polls released for football all-time (preseason, in-season and final).
I tiered the list a bit, accounting for drastic drop-offs.
1. Alabama: 68.7%
---
2. LSU: 53.6%
3. Florida: 52.1%
4. Tennessee: 50.6%
5. Georgia: 50.3%
6. Auburn: 49.2%
---
7. Texas A&M: 38.6%
8. Arkansas: 36.2%
---
9. Ole Miss: 25.1%
10. Missouri: 22.0%
11. Mississippi State: 17.5%
12. South Carolina: 16.2%
---
13. Kentucky: 7.8%
14. Vanderbilt: 2.7%
Vanderbilt needs to be in ranked the AP Poll for 9 more weeks to pass Holy Cross.

Makes sense. That’s how I would rank the SEC all time and tiers seem very correct.

If Auburn can stay ranked for the next 19 consecutive polls, all Big 6 teams will have appeared in the AP Poll at least 50% of the time.... pending Tennessee also, I guess.

Why not do just numbers for the final poll?
Preseason and in-season mean little especially preseason.

It’s amazing what we’ve been able to accomplish in the last 18 years despite being supposedly irrelevant since 2012 realignment.

I get it. But for over 30 years, the final AP Poll was released prior to bowl games being completed.
I prefer the larger sample size anyways. You're more than welcome to do a "% of appearances in the final poll" thread yourself though.

Georgia fans are a tough crowd, eh?
The research took MAYBE 5 minutes.
The time-consuming part is formatting it for you bastards. Takes another 8 minutes to make sure it's at a 6th grade comprehension level.
I guess I could always add to the topics on this board such as: "hUrR dUrR... hEy gEoRgIa FaNs!!!!! 1980!!!!LOLOLOLOLOLOL"
