Now do Mullen. Tell us how he elevated MState so much and how he would bring Florida back to their glory days.

Now do Saban and tell us how he elevated Michigan State so much and how he would bring LSU back to their glory days.

Did I do this right?

You did it exactly right. Thanks for proving my point. You can't always depend on success at one job(or lack of) to be an indicator of their next position.

Because Sexton is his agent.

Nah, I was just kidding about the way you worded it. He does have a couple of bad losses, though one was in the BS Covid year when his best player opted out. I think the good outweighs the bad.

Good luck with that.
He probably won't because something has to break between OSU, UM, and MSU but he could lose all 3 of those. Probably not a good year to be tossing your name around.

Wasn't the same said about Dan Mullen? Florida fans can't wait to get rid of him. Just because a coach does well at what is perceived as a lesser program does not mean they will do well at a bigger program.

Not saying you are wrong. Just saying your thought process could be off.

How could it have been said about Mullen when he (a) only had 1 head coaching job prior to UF and (b) had exactly one ten win season in the 9 years he spent on that job?

Franklin’s resume is much stronger than Mullen’s. Here’s another fun fact for you - Franklin and Mullen had exactly the same conference winning percentage (45.8) when they got their current jobs but Franklin did it at VANDY.

No coach is guaranteed success at a new place, but there are a lot riskier hires than James Franklin.

That'd be great if I based my opinion on that. But what has Penn State done since he's been there that would make anyone fear him as an HC. It's not like he doesn't have the resources to recruit at Penn State.
