Remember this the next time someone like Pete Thamell (who’s built a career on making wrong statements about Auburn going back to 2010) puts out a tweet claiming to have the story from “sources”. The only source they have is someone like Jimmy Sexton who’s only putting it out there to get his client more money.
Stop believing everything you read on the internet or Twitter. Unless you hear something straight from John Cohen himself, don’t fall for it.

The Finebaum show has gone off a cliff over the past 20 years. Really started when he took the job with ESPN.

And I’m sure that story put a few extra millions on Lincoln Riley’s USC contract which in turn made his agent, who almost certainly was the “source” from the start, a nice cut as well.
