"the first true crime of the season is when Tua went down". Is there any way to take that without him sounding like a homer? Players get injured. It's an unfortunate part of sports. Personally, I hope Tua is ok come November 9th. Been looking forward to this match up. Admittedly, not when the season started. But, this year's game has evolved into the type of game no LSU/BAMA fan ever expected.

Note: Not a conspiracy theory guy. We've had Bama on the ropes late, more than once lately, yet we couldn't get it done. Questionable calls just made the loss even harder to accept.

God, please stop.

Tua’s injury absolutely sucks. I hope a speedy, full recovery for the young man.

LSU has lost by a combined 63-10 to Alabama over the last three seasons with the closest game being 10-0.

Also Finebaum wins again.

ESPN making a big deal about a Heisman Trophy candidate on the #1 country going down is a homer move?

Sure, November 9 was shaping up to be a showdown of two Heisman front runners. I don't think that'll happen in any other game in the 2019 regular season. It gives both QBs a chance for a de3fining moment in their seasons to excel. Now, it appears that one of them may not be 100% for the showdown. All of college football loses, imo.

OP checks all the LSU fan post boxes:

-Claims he's not a conspiracy theorist
-Claims media is in Bama's pocket over an innocuous statement
-Claims officials are biased against LSU
-Spells "Go" incorrectly

I wonder what those others who were injured before Tua would think of that comment ?

Who cares if he's a homer? PFF is a dick with ears. Saying that Tua getting hurt is a "crime" makes it sound like they tried to do it. It's a risk he takes by being chased by grown arse men every Saturday.

I hope the best for the kid. I have a son playing HS qb, and I'm a ball of nerves every time he hits the field.

WTS, piss on the gumps. Geauxtigahs

LSU had the game won in 12 and 14 and coaching was too incompetent to get it done.

I think the op Is saying the same thing as you.

I'm sure he said that because it's true. it sucks for cfb if tuas not 100%.
I'm sure thats all he meant.

The dudes not an Alabama homer really. He just states the obvious, there dominate under Saban.

I have a hard time understanding how people have come to the conclusion that a Tenn grad is an alabama fan.

He's not wrong.

I listen to the SDS podcast, and one of the hosts is a bama alum and huge homer said he feels most sorry for LSU, because he believes they will win the SEC and probably the CFP, but with Tua being out, it will diminish the accomplishment that this LSU team has achieved.

Why do you still watch that garbage? As long as his show has viewers it will remain on air. Stop watching it and eventually it will go away

This was true in 2012 and 2014, though in reality if Bama had not fumbled inside the LSU 5, 2012 would not have been so close. But nevertheless, LSU certainly had a great shot to win the game - most underestimate Bama's will to win. Also, 2013 was not the blowout the final score of 38-17 would indicate. LSU had a legit shot until Bama tacked on a couple of late scores. In the other 5 of the 8 most never felt Bama was seriously threatened.

Actually looking forward to a competitive game despite the overstated betting line of 10. IMO, LSU has been Bama's biggest rival the past 11 years, though they have lost more than AU. But LSU has been the only program to consistently physically match Alabama. This year will be fascinating.
